Biography

Dr. Daniel Arriscado graduated in Physical Education Teaching and Sports Science, a Master's in Human Nutrition, and an International Doctorate with a thesis on healthy habits and the health status of school children. He has been working since 2007 as a physical educator in both primary and secondary schools and the Department of Education of the Government of La Rioja. Nowadays, he works as an assistant professor at La Laguna University. During this period, he has been awarded four times for his teaching work and twice for his research work, having carried out work in the United Kingdom and Colombia. Author of multiple conferences and articles published in impact journals, he was the national coordinator of the Schools for Health in Europe Network Foundation and is currently a member of its research group. In the past, he collaborated with the School Health and Healthy Lifestyles working group of the Ministry of Education.
